In Memory to Heath Ledger

Heathcliff Andrew Ledger

April 4, 1979 - January 22, 2008

''I'm on a f---ing journey,'' he said. ''I'm on a walkabout. A lot of people think ambition or success, and they think dollars.... My success is getting underneath that. At the f---ing end of the day, that's the only thing you're going to carry with you when you die.''-Heath Ledger in an interview while filming "A Knight's Tale".

You will be missed.

Week in review

It's suprising my week went pretty fast. I am getting used to the new job, although my hand is still pretty sore from working on drain motors. I know, most of you are like, huh?? Don't worry about it, if you don't know what a drain motor is, I'm not going into detail, too boring. I would probably fall asleep at the keyboard if I tried. At the beginning of the week I went to Wally-world and invested in a slew of medical supplies like finger bandages, wraps, and a new product that is suppose to help protect against blisters. I went through a whole box of bandages since then. I might as well buy stock in Band-aid. Here's a picture of what one looks like. Except it's upside down from the way I work on it.

Although this time around I don't have any blisters like I did the first week I worked there, I have some pretty bad joint pain from pressing wiring into different things. Plus my hand is swollen. I have bee taking Ibuprofen for the inflamation plus holding an ice pack about every day for a while. It's improving, but not as well or as fast as I would like. Soooooo, made another trip back to Walmart last night and got Epsom salt, Aspercreme and a nifty little thing called a flex ball. I figured if I could strenghthen my hands up, I wouldn't be in so much pain. Who knows, maybe it'll work, maybe it won't make much of a difference. I don't care, I'm willing to try it if it might. So, wish me luck on the next week, hopefully I will get used to it soon.

Coast to Coast a.m. with George Noory

There is a pretty interesting site called Coast to Coast that I check out occasionally. It has all sorts of paranormal things including aliens, ghosts, conspiracy, big foot, you name it. I love reading stuff like this. Don't ask why, I've always had an interest in the unknown and weird. Coast to Coast is also an a.m. radio show. They give links and highlights on what the days show is about. Don't forget to check out the cool pictures people send in to the website.
What is your favorite paranormal website? I would love to hear from anyone that has any suggested links.

New Job

Well, let's see... I started a new job back in November, worked a week, was laid off for a month. I was called to start back this past Sunday night. It sucks. Not the job, but the fact that you are relieved you found a job, then WHAM! you don't, for a month. Oh, well. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

I have been trying to write a novel for the last few years. Actually, I've started three different novels and haven't finished any of them. It's something I am going to try to get going on this year I think. It's hard to squeeze in time now with working 3rd shift and having 2 kids to take care of. In the past I would get motivated, work on it a little, then lose interest or get busy with other things. I need to quit making excuses not to, and just do it as the old Nike saying goes. I would love to write full time and be a best selling author. Yeah, I know. I'm probably dreaming a little too big. Who knows, maybe if I can get motivated to write a little each day it will get easier to sit down in front of the computer.

On another note, I have a few authors blogs that I follow. It's a good way to keep up the motivation sometimes. If you like paranormal fiction a few great writers to check out is Jennifer Armintrout, Laurell K. Hamilton and Kim Harrison.
